How to form a union

1. Talk to your co-workers
Share common concerns at work? Employer unwilling to discuss or rectify concerns? Talk to your colleagues at work, or get on our Discord and talk there! Let us know if you’d like a dedicated channel for your workplace!
2. Contact an organiser
Got an issue you want to talk about? Got a group of colleagues together? Then reach out to the AVU Committee or contact our Bectu Branch Official
3. Build Support
Rally people together in your company and build unanimous support to take action against an issue, such as pay.
4. Vote!
Unions are democratic: everyone votes for or against action. When you’re working towards an organising goal, it’s important to get as many of the affected people involved and talking as possible.
